Most SecuRAM safe locks use a 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell or Energizer recommended). The battery compartment is typically located behind the keypad or at the bottom of the entry pad. Release the latch or slide the keypad up to access and replace the battery.
The factory default manager code for many SecuRAM safe locks is usually 1-2-3-4-5-6. It is highly recommended to change this code immediately after installation.
To factory reset a SecuRAM smart lock, locate the reset button (often inside the battery compartment on the interior assembly). Press and hold the button for about 5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt confirming the reset. This will delete all user codes and fingerprints.
Repeated beeps or a specific beep pattern often indicate a low battery or penalty lockout. Replace the battery with a fresh high-quality alkaline 9V battery. If the lock is in penalty mode due to incorrect code attempts, wait 5 to 15 minutes before trying again.
