What do the LED colors on the WAVE ID reader indicate?
Typically, a solid red LED indicates the device is powered and ready but not currently reading a card. The LED turns green when a valid card is successfully read.

My computer does not detect the USB reader. What should I do?
Ensure the reader is plugged directly into a USB port on the computer rather than an extension cable. Check Device Manager to see if the hardware is recognized. If not, uninstall 'General USB Device' from Device Manager and reboot your workstation.
