Induction support FAQ
Algemene vrae oor handleidings, registrasie en ondersteuning vir hierdie handelsmerk.
-
What type of cookware do I need for an Induction cooktop?
You must use cookware with a magnetic, iron-based bottom. You can simply test compatibility by seeing if a magnet sticks safely to the base of your pan or pot. Glass, copper, and aluminum pans are generally not suitable unless they have a magnetic layer.
-
Why is the residual heat symbol shown on the display?
The residual heat symbol remains active if the cooking area is still above 50°C after being switched off. It turns off automatically once the burn risk is no longer present.
-
How do I safely clean my Induction vitroceramic hob?
Use a specialized scraper to completely remove any food residues or melted materials, then wipe the cooled surface with a suitable product and a soft cloth. Under no circumstances should you use steam cleaners, abrasive sponges, or corrosive chemical detergents.
-
Why does my Induction hob turn off by itself?
Your hob includes a safety switch that automatically shuts off the cooking zones after a certain amount of time, depending on the power limit used (for example, it will switch off automatically after 3 hours if running continuously on the maximum heat setting).
