Note on Detection Distance: The detection distance refers to the maximum linear distance from the sensor to a target (moving, micro-moving, or breathing). It is not the maximum diameter or radius mapped to the ground. The sensor has a distance resolution of approximately 1m. For example, if set to 3m, triggering within ±1m of the 3m position is considered normal. The distance value is primarily for filtering through glass partitions, gypsum boards, and wooden partitions, not for strict area division in presence detection.

4. Installasie
4.1 Installasiebeginsels
- General Indoor Areas (Hallways, Changing Rooms, Kitchens): Install as centrally and firmly as possible.
- Bathrooms/Toilets: Install 0.4-0.6m in front of the top of the toilet/squatting position, away from doors, windows, and exhaust fans.
- Living Room/Dining Room/Conference Room: Position 0.5-1m in front of the sofa, directly above the table.
- Bedroom/Study: Directly above the bed, or within 0.6-1.5m behind/in front of the desk.
- Glass/Gypsum Board Partitions: Position the sensor as close to a solid wall as possible. If only glass/gypsum walls are present, install centrally and adjust detection range and sensitivity to prevent false detections outside the intended area.
- Sitting, Squatting, Standing Still Scenes: For ceiling-mounted sensors, position 0.4-0.8m in front of the head's top. Avoid direct overhead installation. Wall-mounted sensors are generally better for detecting sitting still.
- Dense Deployment: Maintain a linear spacing of at least 5m between sensors.

- Apply the provided double-sided adhesive to the back of the wall-mounted sensor.

- Connect the sensor to an 80-240VAC power supply.

5. Setup & App Operation
5.1 App-installasie
To control your sensor, download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your device's app store. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the original PDF user manual for direct download. After installation, register and log in to your account.
5.2 Device Network Connection
For initial use, the sensor needs to be connected to your network. ZigBee versions require a ZigBee gateway (hub), while Wi-Fi versions connect directly to your Wi-Fi network.
- Krag aan: Upon first power-on or if not yet networked, the device will automatically enter pairing mode. The red indicator light will flash quickly. If pairing fails or the red light does not flash, re-power the device or press and hold the network button for more than 5 seconds to re-enter pairing mode.

6. Bedryfsinstruksies
6.1 Detection Functions
The sensor provides various detection capabilities:
- Fretting Detection: Detects small movements like tilting the head, waving, raising a hand, flicking the body, playing with a mobile phone, or turning a book page.
- Teenwoordigheidsbespeuring: Detects the human body in a stationary state (e.g., standing still, squatting still, sitting still).
- Bewegingsopsporing: Detects larger movements such as walking, jogging, fast running, circling, or jumping.
- Afstandmeting: Accurately filters targets outside a specified area based on their distance from the sensor.
6.2 Luminance Detection
The sensor includes an illuminance monitor (0-2000 LUX) that can be used in the Tuya Smart app for smart scene linkages. For example, you can configure your house lights to turn ON/OFF automatically based on changes in ambient brightness.
6.3 Adjustable Parameters
A variety of parameters can be adjusted via the Tuya Smart Life app to customize the sensor's behavior:
- Sensitiwiteit: Adjustable from 1-9 (default 7) to fine-tune detection.

Here are common interference sources and recommended solutions:

- Strong 5.8GHz WiFi Signal Interference:
- For WiFi routers in the front area of the sensor, maintain a distance of at least 3m.
- For routers in other directions, maintain a distance of at least 1.5m.
- When using a top-mounted Access Point (AP), maintain a distance of at least 1.5m from the sensor.
- Air Flow (Wind): Adjust the sensor's sensitivity setting.
- Diere: Adjust sensitivity and the nearest detection distance to minimize false triggers from pets.
- Low-Frequency Vibration: Avoid direct exposure of radar signals to sound systems or other vibration sources. Set a relatively low sensitivity to prevent false triggering and use a longer presence confirmation delay time.
- Restricted Usage Scenarios: Avoid installing in elevators, metal-sealed toilets, or similar all-metal sealed spaces. Also avoid scenarios where the plane area of metal decorative materials outside the non-ceiling area exceeds 20%.
