4. Opstelling en installering

4.1. POE Installation Overview

The Gadinan NVR system utilizes Power over Ethernet (POE) technology, simplifying installation significantly. A single Cat5e Ethernet cable connects each IP camera to the NVR, transmitting both data and power. This eliminates the need for separate power cables, adapters, or POE switches, reducing complexity and cost.

4.2. NVR Back Panel Connections

Connect your cameras to the POE ports on the NVR. Connect a monitor via HDMI or VGA, and a mouse to a USB port for local control. The NVR also has an Audio Out port.

4.3. Network Connection Diagram

5. Operasie

5.1. Local NVR Interface

After connecting the NVR to a monitor and mouse, you can navigate the system settings and view live feeds directly. The NVR supports multiple languages.

5.2. Remote Access via PC (CMS Software)

Om view your surveillance system from a PC, install the CMS (Central Management Software) for Windows or VMS for Mac. This software is typically provided on a CD or can be downloaded online (contact support for download links).

  1. Install the CMS software on your computer.
  2. Launch the CMS software. You may be prompted to log in.
  3. In the Device Manager, search for and add your NVR using its IP address or Serial ID.

5.3. Afstandtoegang via Web Blaaier

5.4. Remote Access via Smartphone App (XMEye)

The XMEye app allows you to view your cameras remotely from your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

  1. Download the "XMEye" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

6.1. H.265+ Video Compression

The system utilizes H.265+ video compression technology, which significantly reduces video file sizes without compromising quality. This results in substantial savings in hard drive space and network bandwidth compared to older H.264 compression.

6.2. Motion Detection & Alarm Alerts

The system supports smart motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger an alarm message to your smartphone app or send a photo to your email, allowing for timely review van gebeure.

6.3. Klankopname

Each camera is equipped with a built-in microphone, enabling audio recording alongside video. This provides authentic sound recording of the surrounding environment. Please note that this system does not support two-way audio communication.

6.4. Smart IR-Cut Night Vision

The cameras feature a smart IR-Cut filter that automatically switches between day and night modes. This ensures clear, vivid surveillance footage by reducing color cast during the day and enhancing image brightness at night, with an IR distance of up to 25 meters.

7. Onderhoud

  • Gereelde skoonmaak: Maak die kameralense gereeld skoon met 'n sagte, damp lap om duidelike beeldkwaliteit te verseker. Vermy skuurmiddels.
  • Firmware -opdaterings: Check for NVR and camera firmware updates regularly. Updates can improve performance, add features, and enhance security. Refer to the manufacturer's website or contact support for the latest firmware.
  • Kabelbestuur: Ensure all cables are securely connected and protected from environmental damage.
  • Hardeskyfgesondheid: If an HDD is installed, monitor its health through the NVR interface to prevent data loss.
  • Omgewingsbeskerming: While cameras are IP66 waterproof, extreme weather conditions can still affect performance. Ensure proper installation to minimize exposure to harsh elements.

8. Probleemoplossing

8.1. Geen videoskerm nie

  • NVR Channel Status: Access the NVR interface and check the status of each camera channel. If a channel shows 'NoConfig' or 'Offline', try re-adding the camera or checking its network settings.

8.2. Cannot Access Remotely (PC/App)

  • App/Software Login: Double-check your login credentials for the XMEye app or CMS software.

  • Firewall/Router-instellings: Your router's firewall or network settings might be blocking access. Ensure necessary ports are open or UPnP is enabled (if supported and configured).

  • Configure Motion Zones: Adjust the sensitivity and threshold of motion detection zones to suit your environment.
