7. Onderhoud

7.1 Algemene sorg

  • Keep the multimeter clean and dry. Wipe the case with a damp lap en sagte skoonmaakmiddel. Moenie skuurmiddels of oplosmiddels gebruik nie.
  • Bêre die instrument op 'n koel, droë plek weg van direkte sonlig en uiterste temperature.
  • If the instrument is not used for a long period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.

7.2 Batteryvervanging

Wanneer die lae battery-aanwyser op die skerm verskyn, vervang die batterye dadelik om akkurate metings te verseker. Verwys na Afdeling 4.1 vir battery-installasie-instruksies.

7.3 Sekeringvervanging

If the current measurement function fails, the fuse may need replacement. Ensure the multimeter is OFF and disconnect all test leads before attempting to replace fuses. The fuse specifications are: mA: F600mA/250V; 10A: F10A/250V.

8. Probleemoplossing

If you encounter issues with your multimeter, try the following basic troubleshooting steps:

  • Geen skerm/aanskakel: Kontroleer batteryinstallasie en maak seker dat batterye nie leeg is nie. Vervang indien nodig.
  • Onakkurate lesings: Ensure test leads are properly connected and not damaged. Verify the correct measurement function and range are selected. Check battery level.
  • Geen kontinuïteitspieptoon: Ensure the continuity function is selected and the circuit is not live.
  • NCV word nie opgespoor nie: Ensure the NCV function is selected and the multimeter is brought close enough to the AC voltage bron.

For persistent issues, consult the full user manual PDF or contact customer support.

9. Gebruikerswenke

  • Begin altyd met die hoogste bereik wanneer jy 'n onbekende waarde meet om oorlading van die meter te voorkom.
  • For precise temperature measurements, allow the thermocouple to stabilize with the environment before taking readings.
  • Utilize the 'HOLD' function to capture readings in hard-to-reach or poorly lit areas.
  • The 'MAX' function is useful for identifying peak values in fluctuating measurements.

10. Waarborg en Ondersteuning

For warranty information, technical support, or service inquiries, please refer to the official documentation provided with your product or contact the seller directly. A detailed user manual in PDF format is available for download: View Gebruikershandleiding (PDF).
