  1. Initial Oil Filling

    Unscrew the oil filler cap on the top of the device. Carefully fill the oil bottle with no more than 20ml of test oil (liquid paraffin or baby oil). Pour the oil into the oil filler. Ensure the oil level gauge indicates 'OK' and do not overfill. Securely replace the cap.

    • Connect the smoke hose from the detector's smoke output to the vehicle's pipe system you wish to test.

    • Within 30 seconds, the system will be filled with smoke. Visually inspect the entire pipe system for any escaping smoke, which indicates a leak.
    • Use a flashlight to help locate small or hidden leaks.

  4. Perform Leakage Test (Air Mode)

    • Block the smoke exhaust port on the SDT206 and record the initial pressure gauge value.
    • Connect the smoke exhaust port to the pipe system you want to test.
    • Activate the 'Air Mode'.
    • Wait for a while. If the pressure gauge value decreases, it indicates a leak. If the value shows "0", it means the diameter of the leakage point is more than 0.3mm.
