2.3 Toonarm- en patroonopstelling

The Debut EVO 2 comes with a pre-mounted Pick it MM EVO cartridge. Follow these steps for tonearm setup:

  1. Counterweight Adjustment: Gently push the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. With the anti-skating weight removed, balance the tonearm so it floats freely and horizontally. Lock the tonearm in its rest.
  2. Tracking Force Setting: Rotate the tracking force scale ring to '0' while holding the counterweight steady. Then, rotate the counterweight (and scale ring) counter-clockwise until the desired tracking force (typically 1.8g for the Pick it MM EVO) is indicated.
  3. Anti-skaats aanpassing: Attach the anti-skating weight to the small groove on the anti-skating stub. The recommended setting for the Pick it MM EVO cartridge is the second groove from the tonearm pivot.
