1. Inleiding
This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sharp SPC5026AMZ Digital Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

2. Pakketinhoud
Verifieer dat alle items in die pakket teenwoordig is:

Let wel: 3 x AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.
3. Opstelling
3.1 Battery installasie
- Vind die batteryklepdeksel aan die agterkant van die horlosie.
- Remove the cover by sliding it downwards or lifting it.
- Insert three (3) new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Plaas die deksel van die batterykompartement terug.
The clock will power on automatically after battery installation.

4. Bedryfsinstruksies
Refer to Figure 2 for button locations on the back of the clock.
4.1 Stel tyd en datum in
- Skuif die ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH aan die TYD posisie.
- Druk die HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON om die uur aan te pas.
- Druk die MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON om die minuut aan te pas.
- Druk die 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
- Skuif die ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH aan die DATUM posisie.
- Druk die HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON om die maand aan te pas.
- Druk die MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON to adjust the date.
- Druk die 12/24 HR TIME YEAR SELECTION BUTTON om die jaar aan te pas.
- Once time and date are set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH terug na die HARDLOOP posisie.
4.2 Stel die alarm in
- Skuif die ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH aan die ALARM posisie.
- Druk die HOUR / MONTH SELECTION BUTTON om die alarmuur aan te pas.
- Druk die MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON om die alarmminuut aan te pas.
- Skuif die ALARM AAN/UIT SKAKELAAR aan ON to activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
- Om die alarm te deaktiveer, skuif die ALARM AAN/UIT SKAKELAAR aan AF. The alarm icon will disappear.
- Once the alarm is set, slide the ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH terug na die HARDLOOP posisie.
4.3 Snooze -funksie
Wanneer die alarm afgaan, druk die groot knoppie SNOOZE / LIG button on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 9 minutes before sounding again.
4.4 Nightlight and Backlight
The clock features two illumination options:
- Built-in Display Nightlight: Skuif die LOW LIGHT NIGHTTIME VIEWING BACKLIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH on the back of the clock to ON for a continuous, low-level illumination of the display. Slide to AF te deaktiveer.
- On-Demand White Backlight: Druk die groot SNOOZE / LIG button on the top of the clock for 5 seconds of bright white backlight. This is useful for quick viewin donker toestande.

4.5 Temperatuurvertoning
The clock displays the indoor temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between units, press the MIN / DATE / °C/°F SELECTION BUTTON terwyl die ALARM / DATE / TIME SETTING SWITCH is in die HARDLOOP posisie.

6. Onderhoud
6.1 Skoonmaak
Vee die horlosie af met 'n sagte, droë lap. Moenie skuurmiddels of oplosmiddels gebruik nie, aangesien dit die oppervlak kan beskadig.
6.2 Batteryvervanging
Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically. Always replace all three batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
