4. Opstelling en installering

4.1 Voordat jy begin

Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The smart plug does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.

4.4 Connecting the Smart Plug (AP Mode)

If EZ Mode fails, you can try AP Mode:

After attempting EZ Mode, if the indicator light is blinking slowly (1 flash every 2 seconds), select 'Blink Slowly' in the app.
The app will prompt you to connect your phone to the device's hotspot. Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named 'SmartLife_xxxx' (this is a temporary Wi-Fi network generated by the smart plug, not your home Wi-Fi).
Return to the Smart Life app and continue the connection process.
Once connected, name your smart plug and save it.

4.5 Integrating with Amazon Alexa

Ensure your smart plug is successfully connected and named in the Smart Life app.
Open the Amazon Alexa app and log in to your account.

5. Bedryfsinstruksies

5.1 Handmatige beheer

Press the physical button on the side of the GNCC Smart Plug to manually turn the connected appliance on or off.
