4. Opstelling
4.1 Die krag van die toestel
The MEDTECH BP12 can be powered using either AA batteries or the included USB Type-C cable.
- Die gebruik van batterye: Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Gebruik USB-C: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the USB-C port on the side of the monitor and plug the other end into a compatible power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
4.2 Connecting the Arm Cuff
Insert the air tube connector from the arm cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the blood pressure monitor unit.

4.3 Removing Screen Protector
For optimal display clarity, gently peel off and remove the screen protector film from the monitor's display before first use.

5. Bedryfsinstruksies
5.1 Voor meting

- Slide your arm through the cuff loop. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (about two fingers' width) above your elbow joint.
- Ensure the air tube is positioned on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, securing it with the Velcro closure. It should be tight enough that you can barely insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.

5.3 Neem 'n meting
- Once the cuff is correctly applied and you are in a relaxed position, press the BEGIN/STOP knoppie.
- The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- After inflation, the cuff will slowly deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- The measurement will automatically be stored in the device's memory.

5.4 Using Memory Function
The device can store up to 90 readings for two users. To access stored readings:

6. Onderhoud
- Skoonmaak: Vee die monitor en manchet af met 'n sagte, droë lap. Indien nodig, gebruik 'n effens droë lap.amp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Berging: Store the device in its storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
- Battery vervanging: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Manchetversorging: Ensure the cuff is clean and free from debris. Do not fold the air tube sharply.
