1. Inleiding

Thank you for choosing the Seiko 5 Sports SRPE53K1 automatic watch. This timepiece combines classic design with reliable automatic movement, offering day and date functionality and robust water resistance. The Seiko 5 Sports SRPE53K1 features a silver multi-link brushed stainless steel bracelet, a 40 mm silver stainless steel case with a transparent case back, and a dark blue sunburst dial. LumiBrite luminous material is applied to the hour markers and hands for visibility in low light conditions. It is equipped with an automatic movement that winds itself through the motion of your wrist.

2. Opstelling

2.1 Ontboks

Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Retain all packaging materials for future reference or transport.

2.2 Instelling van die tyd en datum

The crown is located on the right side of the watch case. It has three positions:

1. Position 0 (Normal Position): The crown is pushed in completely. The watch will operate normally.

3. Posisie 2 (Tweede Klik): Pull the crown out two clicks. In this position, you can set the time.

To Set the Date and Day:

If the watch stops or runs low on power, you can manually wind it by rotating the crown in Position 0 (normal position) clockwise for about 30-40 turns. This will provide enough power to start the watch and allow the automatic winding mechanism to take over once worn.

3.2 Day and Date Display

The watch features a day and date display at the 3 o'clock position. The day and date will automatically change around midnight. If the watch has been stopped for an extended period, you may need to manually adjust the day and date as described in Section 2.2.
