3. Vergadering

The chainsaw may require some assembly before first use. Follow these steps carefully.

7. Once tension is set, fully tighten the two nuts on the side cover.

1. Ensure the chainsaw is on a level surface and the battery is removed.

4. Operasie

Before starting, ensure all safety checks are complete and you are wearing appropriate PPE.

4.1 Begin die kettingsaag

3. While holding the safety button, squeeze the trigger switch to start the motor.

• Buik: Cutting a fallen log into shorter lengths. Support the log to prevent pinching. If cutting from above, cut about one-third of the way through, then roll the log and finish the cut. If cutting from below, cut one-third from below, then finish from above.
• Vermy terugslag: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Maintain a firm grip and stable stance.

5. Onderhoud

• If the chain is damaged or excessively worn, replace it with a new chain of the correct type and size (40 cm / 16 inch).
