5.1 Selecting and Changing Nose Pieces

The riveter comes with four interchangeable nose pieces to accommodate different rivet diameters. Select the nose piece that matches the diameter of the rivet you intend to use.

  1. Identify the correct nose piece size for your rivet (3/32 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in., or 3/16 in.).
  2. Use the included wrench to unscrew the currently installed nose piece.
  3. Screw the desired nose piece firmly into place using the wrench.

5.2 Unlocking the Handles

To prepare the riveter for use, release the handle lock located near the base of the handles. Push the lock mechanism to allow the handles to open fully.

  1. Drill a Hole: Using a drill, create a hole in the materials to be joined. The hole diameter should match the rivet diameter.

  3. Position Riveter: Insert the rivet's stem into the nose piece of the riveter. Ensure the riveter's head is flush against the material surface.
