1. Inleiding

This manual provides instructions for the AT&T EL50003 Accessory Handset. This handset is designed to expand your existing AT&T cordless telephone system, offering additional convenience and functionality. It requires a compatible AT&T base unit to operate.

Compatible base units include models: EL52103, EL52203, EL52253, EL52303, EL52353, EL52403, and EL52503.

3. Aanvanklike Opstelling

3.1. Battery Installasie

  1. Vind die batteryklepdeksel aan die agterkant van die handset.

  3. Connect the battery connector securely into the jack inside the compartment.
  4. Place the battery into the compartment with the label facing up.

Before initial use, charge the handset for at least 10 hours. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.

  1. Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the power jack on the back of the handset charger.

  3. Place the handset face up in the charger cradle. The CHARGE indicator light on the handset will illuminate, confirming it is charging.

3.3. Registrasie van die handset

The accessory handset must be registered to your AT&T cordless telephone base unit before use. Refer to your base unit's user manual for specific registration instructions, as procedures may vary slightly between models. A common registration process involves:

  1. Place the accessory handset in the base unit's charger or directly on the base unit.
  2. Druk en hou die BLADSY or HANDSET LIGGING button on the base unit for approximately 4 seconds. The base unit will enter registration mode.
  3. Druk op die bykomende handset die # key. The handset will display "Registering..." or a similar message.
  4. Once registered, the handset will display "Handset X Registered" (where X is the handset number) and emit a confirmation tone. If registration fails, try again.

4. Bediening van die handset

  • Standard Call: Druk die TELEFOON / FLITS button (green phone icon) or SPREKER, skakel dan die telefoonnommer.
  • Pre-dial: Dial the phone number first, then press the TELEFOON / FLITS button (green phone icon) or SPREKER.

4.5. Herbel

Druk HERLEG aan view the last numbers dialed. Press the TELEFOON / FLITS button (green phone icon) to call the displayed number.

4.6. Stom

4.7. Intercom (INT)

If you have multiple registered handsets, press INT to initiate an intercom call to another handset.

5. Onderhoud

For optimal battery life, keep the handset in the charger when not in use. If the handset will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
