2. Veiligheidsinstruksies
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before using the Scheppach HS100S table saw. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
2.1 Algemene Veiligheidswaarskuwings
- Elektriese veiligheid: Kraggereedskapproppe moet by die aansluiting pas.
- Persoonlike veiligheid: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
2.2 Specific Table Saw Safety
- Always use the blade guard and splitter when operating the saw.
- Ensure the workpiece is firmly supported and guided. Use push sticks for narrow cuts.
- Never reach over or behind the rotating saw blade.
- Maintain a clear path for the workpiece and avoid cross-cutting freehand.
- Ensure the saw is stable. The HS100S features a stable base frame and non-slip rubber feet for high stability.

Volg hierdie stappe noukeurig.
3.1 Uitpak en inspeksie
- Verwyder alle komponente versigtig uit die verpakking.
- Inspect all parts for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged.
- Verify that all listed components are present: main saw unit, stand components, two table extensions, saw blade, blade guard, cross-cut gauge, parallel guide, and assembly hardware.
3.2 Montering van die Staanplek
Assemble the metal stand according to the diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened for maximum stability.
3.3 Mounting the Saw Unit
- Carefully place the main saw unit onto the assembled stand.
- Secure the saw unit to the stand using the provided bolts and nuts.
3.4 Installing Table Extensions
Attach the two table extensions to the left and right sides of the main table. These extensions significantly increase the working surface, allowing for easier processing of larger workpieces.

Figure 3.1: The table extensions on both sides allow for processing of larger workpieces.
3.5 Blade Installation and Guard Attachment
- Follow the instructions for installing the 250mm carbide saw blade.

4. Bedryfsinstruksies
This section details the proper procedures for operating your Scheppach HS100S table saw.
4.1 Kragverbinding
Connect the saw to a 240 Volt AC power supply. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded.
4.2 Adjusting Blade Height and Tilt
The saw features a combined handwheel for adjusting both the blade height and tilt angle. The maximum cutting height at 90 degrees is 85mm, and at 45 degrees, it is 65mm.
- Turn the handwheel to raise or lower the blade for the desired cutting depth.
- Use the tilt mechanism to set the blade angle for bevel cuts (up to 45 degrees).

Figure 4.2: The HS100S can effortlessly cut soft and hardwood up to a maximum height of 85mm.
4.3 Using the Guides
- Parallelle gids: Use the parallel guide for rip cuts to ensure straight and consistent widths. Secure it firmly before cutting.
- Cross-Cut Gauge: The cross-cut gauge is used for accurate cross-cuts and miter cuts. Adjust the angle as needed and secure the workpiece against the fence.
