1. Opstelling

1.1 Uitpak en inspeksie

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the scale for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, do not use the scale and contact your supplier immediately.

1.2 Plasing

Place the scale on a stable, level, and vibration-free surface. Avoid locations with direct sunlight, extreme temperature fluctuations, or strong air currents (e.g., near air conditioning vents), as these can affect weighing accuracy.

1.3 Kragtoevoer

The scale can be powered by the integrated battery or via the included 230 V plug-in power adapter. The integrated battery provides up to 70 hours of operation and features a charging function when connected to the power adapter.

  • AC werking: Connect the power adapter to the scale's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
  • Battery werking: Ensure the integrated battery is sufficiently charged for portable use.

2. Bedryfsinstruksies

The display will show a self-test sequence and then settle at zero.

2.2 Basiese Weeg

  1. Ensure the scale is powered on and the display shows "0.000 kg" or "0.0 g".
  2. Place the item to be weighed directly onto the weighing platform.

2.3 Tare Function (T)

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the net weight of the contents is measured.

  1. Place the empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Druk die T (Tare) button. The display will reset to "0.000 kg" (or "0.0 g"), indicating the container's weight has been tared.
  4. To clear the tare, remove the container from the platform and press the T button again, or power cycle the scale.

2.4 Zero Function (→0←)

The zero function is used to reset the display to zero when there is a small amount of residual weight on the platform or if the display drifts slightly from zero.

  • With nothing on the platform, if the display shows a small non-zero value, press the →0← (Zero) button to reset it to "0.000 kg".

2.5 Counting Function

This function allows you to count a large number of identical items by weighing a sample.

  1. Place a known quantity of items (e.g., 10, 20, 50, 100) on the platform as a sample.
  2. Access the counting mode (refer to the scale's specific button, often labeled PCS or similar, or a menu option).
  3. Input the sample quantity. The scale will calculate the average piece weight.
  4. Add the remaining items to be counted. The display will show the total count.

2.6 Summing Function

The summing function allows you to accumulate the weights of multiple items or batches.

  1. Weigh the first item.
  2. Druk die M+ (Memory Plus) or SOM button to add the weight to the total.
  3. Remove the item and place the next item to be weighed.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for all items.
  5. Om view the total sum, press the MR (Memory Recall) or TOTAAL knoppie.

2.7 Checking Function

This function is used for checking if an item's weight falls within a predefined target range (checkweighing).

  1. Enter the target weight and tolerance limits (upper and lower bounds) into the scale's settings.
  2. Place an item on the platform.
  3. The scale will indicate if the item is "under," "over," or "within" the target range, often with visual or audible alerts.

2.8 Hou-funksie

The hold function allows the displayed weight to be frozen on the screen, even after the item is removed from the platform. This is useful for weighing large or awkwardly shaped items that might obscure the display.

  • Plaas die item op die platform.
  • Druk die HOU button. The weight will be locked on the display.
  • Verwyder die item. Die gewig sal steeds vertoon word.
  • Druk die HOU button again to release the display and return to normal weighing mode.

  • Wipe the weighing platform and housing with a soft, damp lap.
  • Use mild cleaning agents if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface and internal components.
  • Do not allow liquids to enter the scale's interior.

3.2 Batterysorg

The integrated battery is designed for long-term use. To maximize battery life:

  • Laai die battery voor die eerste gebruik volledig.
  • If the scale will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3 months) to prevent deep discharge.
