Onderhoud
Battery vervanging
When the battery indicator light shows low power (e.g., yellow or off), replace the two AAA batteries as described in the "Battery Installation" section. Using fresh batteries ensures optimal performance and uninterrupted testing.
Skoonmaak
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the RJ45 port is free of dust and debris.
Probleemoplossing
- Geen krag: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- No Link Established (Link Chain icon off/blinking):
- Check the Ethernet cable for damage.
- Verify the network port on the switch is active and correctly configured.
- This could indicate bad cabling or a switch hardware failure.
- Weak PoE Power (Lightning Bolt icon yellow):
- The cable might be too long or damaged.
- There might be an issue with the switch port providing PoE.
- DHCP Issues (DHCP text red):
- If using static IP, check for duplicate IP addresses on the network.
- If using DHCP, the DHCP server might be misconfigured or not responding.
- Gateway/Internet Ping Failures (Cloud icon red/yellow):
- Check if the LinkSprinter's IP address is correct.
- The gateway might be down or configured to ignore pings.
- Yellow indication suggests high network traffic or a busy gateway.
