1. Inleiding

The Technoline WT 280 is a radio-controlled alarm clock designed for accurate timekeeping and convenience. It features automatic time synchronization via the DCF77 signal, an indoor temperature display, and an alarm with a snooze function. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your WT 280 alarm clock.

Beheerknoppies:

TYD: Used for setting the time and date manually.

3. Opstelling

3.1 Battery installasie

Vind die batterykompartement aan die agterkant van die wekker.

Insert the required batteries (batteries are not included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -).

3.2 Initial Time Synchronization (DCF77)

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF77 radio signal to synchronize the time. This process may take several minutes.

Once synchronized, the icon will become solid, and the correct time will be displayed.

If automatic synchronization is not successful or if you are outside the DCF77 signal range, you can set the time and date manually.

Repeat step 2 and 3 for minutes, year, month, and day.
After setting the date, the time zone adjustment will appear. Use 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE to set the offset (e.g., -1 for UK time if the clock defaults to Central European Time).
Druk TYD to exit manual setting.

4. Bedryfsinstruksies

4.1 Stel die alarm in

Druk en hou die ALARM knoppie totdat die alarmuursyfers flikker.
Gebruik die 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE knoppies om die wekker uur aan te pas.
Druk ALARM weer om die uur te bevestig en na die alarmminuutinstelling te gaan.
Gebruik die 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE knoppies om die alarmminuut aan te pas.
Druk ALARM om alarminstelling te bevestig en te verlaat.

4.2 Aktivering/Deaktivering van die alarm

Druk die ALARM AAN / AF button to toggle the alarm on or off.
An alarm clock symbol will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

4.3 Snooze -funksie

Wanneer die alarm afgaan, druk die groot knoppie SNOOZE / LIG button on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes.

4.4 12/24-uur-formaat

Druk die 12/24 knoppie om te wissel tussen 12-uur (met AM/PM-aanwyser) en 24-uur tydformate.

4.5 Temperature Display (°C/°F)

Druk die °C/°F WAVE button to toggle the indoor temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

Druk die groot SNOOZE / LIG button on top of the clock to activate the backlight for approximately 3 seconds.

5. Onderhoud

Skoonmaak: Vee die horlosie af met 'n sagte, droë lap. Moenie skuurmiddels of oplosmiddels gebruik nie.
Battery vervanging: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning correctly. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.

6. Probleemoplossing
