• Begin: Place the sander gently on the workpiece with the belt slightly raised, then lower it slowly as you turn it on.
• Beweging: Move the sander smoothly and evenly across the surface in the direction of the wood grain. Avoid pressing down too hard, as the tool's weight is usually sufficient.
